The Administration Bureau provides support services to both the Detention and Patrol Bureaus in such critical areas as Finance, Payroll, Records, Human Resources, Information Technology, Purchasing and Civil Processing. The Administration Bureau is located at the Yuma County Sheriff’s Office, Main Office.

Our Mission

The mission of the Administration Bureau is to provide operational support for the Sheriff’s Office. Operations support includes providing personnel developing budgets and developing policy governing the conduct of all employees. The Administration Bureau is dedicated to providing these services efficiently and consistent with Sheriff’s Office mission to meet or exceed customer service standards.
 

YCSO Services

The following services are provided to the public by the Yuma County Sheriff’s Office at the main office (Administration) located at 141 S. 3rd Avenue and the YCSO Foothills Substation located at 13190 E. South Frontage Road.

  • Delinquent Personal Property Tax Payments: The YCSO accepts full payment for delinquent personal property accounts in person, by mail or telephone. Click link for more information: Delinquent Personal Property Taxes

  • Prescription Drug Disposal: The YCSO Main Office and Foothills Substation serve as full-time drop-off locations for the YCSO’s prescription drug take-back program. Click link for more information: Prescription Drug Take-Back Program

For many people, their first contact with the Sheriff’s Office is with Administration personnel. These contacts are varied and staff must be flexible in dealing with different people and different requests.
