Fingerprint Sevices

 
The Yuma County Sheriff’s Office provides fingerprinting services to the public by appointment only as follows:

Monday thru Friday
9:00–11:00 AM
Excluding holidays

Effective August 3, 2026, fingerprinting services will be temporarily unavailable at the Foothills Substation until further notice. Please contact the Main Office to schedule an appointment for this service.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding as we work to restore services as soon as possible.

Fingerprint Clearance Card

Fingerprint Clearance Cards are issued by the Arizona Department of Public Safety (DPS) after the required clearance process is completed.

NOTE: Fingerprint Card must be completed in black ink prior to arriving for your scheduled appointment.

Photo Identification
Picture identification is required to fingerprint an individual. See list below for acceptable forms of identification:

  • Valid driver’s license or state ID card
  • Passport
  • Military ID or other government-issued ID
Individuals under the age of sixteen may use a state ID card or school ID card which includes a date of birth.
 

Fingerprinting Fees

The fingerprint fee is $3.00 per card.

Types of Payment Accepted
Below are the various types of payments that are accepted at the YCSO Main Office:

  • Cash
  • Personal check
  • Money order
  • Cashier ’s check
  • Credit/debit card. NOTE: Credit/debit card (Visa/MasterCard only) payments are accepted; however, there is a convenience fee which varies depending on the amount charged and credit/debit card used. We do not accept American Express.

Checks or money orders should be made payable to the Yuma County Sheriff’s Office.
