Certain writs require the court-ordered seizure and sale of both personal and real property at public auction. Once property has been seized and is available for auction, A.R.S. 12-1621, Para. A, Section 1 requires notice of sales to be posted at three (3) locations within the county. The Yuma County Sheriff’s Office posts notices at the following locations:
For the sale of personal property other than that which is perishable, the Sheriff's Office shall post a “Notice of Sale” for not less than ten days successively before the day of sale as per A.R.S. 12-1621, Para. A, Section 2.
Seized property eligible for sale is sold at the location at which it is stored unless otherwise noted. The “Notice of Sale” documentation will outline the specific location of sale.
Auctions and sales will take place as a result of adjudicated court cases, at the following location:
Yuma County Superior Court
