Isaac A. Bradshaw was appointed as Sheriff (La Paz) of the Second Judicial District on June 1, 1864 by Arizona Territory Governor John N. Goodwin. He resigned as Sheriff on September 10, 1864. William A. Werninger was appointed by Governor Goodwin to replace him.
