Inmates cannot have clothing or other items dropped off to them. Inmates can purchase T-shirts, underwear and socks through the Detention Center Commissary. Inmates can also purchase items such as writing paper, stamps, envelopes, snacks and hygiene items through the Detention Center Commissary.
Clothing for trial appearances can be dropped off only after the inmate has submitted a request and the request has been approved. See Inmate Property for more information.
Commissary On-Line Ordering
Some commissary items, in limited quantities, may now be purchased on-line and sent to an inmate. The Yuma County Detention Center uses Access Securepak to provide commissary items to inmates once a week.
Access Securepak is a program designed to allow family members and friends to send packages to inmates. Securepak was developed to eliminate contraband and greatly reduce the time and labor required to process packages.
