Payment may be made in the form of personal check, money order, cashier’s check or cash. Cash payments can only be made in person. Only non-cash payments may be made by mail. When making a payment, it is very important that you include your Account Number on all correspondence. Checks or money orders may be made payable to the “Yuma County Sheriff’s Office” or to the "Yuma County Treasurer".

We do not accept payment for real property accounts. Real property accounts are handled by the Yuma County Treasurer’s Office at 410 Maiden Lane, Yuma, AZ 85364. The telephone number is (928) 539-7781.
Address changes, corrections to ownership information, and title transfers for manufactured homes and recreational vehicles that are not affixed to real property are done at the Motor Vehicle Division (MVD) located at 2165 E Gila Ridge Road in Yuma. After the changes have been completed with MVD, contact the Yuma County Assessor's Office to submit the updated information. The Assessor's Office is located at 410 Maiden Lane, Yuma, AZ 85364. Once property has been seized, and is available for auction, A.R.S. 42-19111 requires notices of sales to be posted within the County. The Yuma County Sheriff's Office posts notices at the following locations:
Seized property eligible for sale is sold at the location at which it is stored. The “Notice of Sale” documentation will outline the specific location of the sale.
In accordance with A.R.S. 42-19111, the Sheriff’s Office shall not sell seized property until three (3) weeks after the notice is served on the property owner.
