On April 29, 2014, the Yuma County Sheriff’s Office Demolition Derby Team--Alfonso Zavala, Alfredo Caro, Henry Hernandez and Ken Shaw--donated the winnings from the 33rd Annual Yuma County Fair Demolition Derby to local charities. On behalf of Sheriff Leon Wilmot and the Yuma County Sheriff’s Office, we are proud of our Demolition Derby Team and their decision to donate the winnings to local charities. This is a great example of giving back to our community.

We would also like to thank Kennedy’s Towing, Tipton Automotive, Ed Whitehead Tire Pro and Southwest Sanitation for their donations to the team to help build the demolition derby car.
