On September 2, 2009, Sheriff Ralph Ogden presented Corporal Philip
Spongross,
Deputy Michael Kofta and Deputy Todd Sutton with YCSO Outstanding
Achievement
Life Saving Awards for their heroic actions on August 16th (Spongross &
Kofta)
and August 25th (Sutton).
Their actions saved lives and property and were in the highest traditions of
the
Yuma County Sheriff’s Office.
