Are You OK?

Are You OK? is a computer system devised to make daily telephone checks on elderly or ill people who reside alone and have no one in the local area to check regularly on their welfare.

Criminal History Records Check

Must complete and submit a “Local Records Check" form.  There is no charge for a general record check.  If you require a notarized "Letter of No Record", there is a $2.00 notary fee, pursuant to Arizona Revised Statutes 41-316 and A.A.C. R2-12-1102 (The Arizona Administrative Code Rules).

You can only request a criminal history on yourself and you must provide picture identification.

Requests received by mail require a notarized copy of picture identification along with the Local Records Check form.

Requested report and/or letter will be ready for pick-up within 72 hours.  The records checks and/or letters of no record will only be kept on file for 2 weeks from the date of request.

Vacation Notifications

Citizens residing in the unincorporated areas of Yuma County can submit a "Vacation Notification Form" prior to departing the area for an extended period of time.

You may call the Yuma County Sheriff’s Office at (928) 783-4427 and request an intensive patrol (711) of your home. The patrols are conducted by our Deputies. Keep in mind that these home checks are on a “as time permits basis”. In most cases, a good neighbor keeping an eye on your home is much more effective than any intermittent law enforcement patrol.
